Terrasteel Furniture Design on Bend’s west side brings you a contemporary Pacific Northwest selection of custom and handcrafted furniture from modern to traditional utilizing steel, non-endangered exotic hardwoods and reclaimed local timbers. All of their designs are made locally, created on site using their own woodworking, welding and fabrication skills to have the piece announce the marriage of design and function. With a mantra of “If you can dream it, we can build it,” browse their portfolio for ideas to complete your home and commercial setting from their current ARTifacts series, to Live Edge furniture. They also sell their inventive wine racks from custom steel tubes and frames and knife blocks from exotic wood/steel to steel, both with bamboo skewers that allow any knife blade 12″ or smaller to easily and safely slip into place. Their shop hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment.
