Summer and Country Music Go Together Like a Good Pair of Boots and Your Favorite Jeans
If you’re craving the return of live music like we are, and especially that of the country variety, you’re in for a treat this summer in Bend.
Bend’s summer concert series at Les Schwab Amphitheater is already promising to be the most action-packed summer since the award-winning venue along the Deschutes River in the Old Mill District opened in the early 2000s. This summer acts lined up in Bend, such as Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, and Brantley Gilbert, are teed up to make your wildest country music dreams come true. It’s safe to assume, then, that August’s All-Star Country Music Weekend in Bend is sure to be the icing on the cake.
You’ve still got time to book that perfect hotel room or vacation rental in Bend for the weekend of August 19-21 (and go ahead and stay a few extra days, your boss won’t mind). Once you’ve checked in, hit up your favorite Bend eatery or brewery. After you’re done, grab a ride share or taxi and head up to the Deschutes County Fairgrounds in Redmond to catch Justin Moore’s first-ever outdoor show in Central Oregon. Live on stage on August 19th, Justin’s music hits just right with that traditional country sound and captivating live show. If you’re not familiar with his latest hit, ‘Why We Drink,’ well, there’s a good chance it’ll be in your head the remainder of the weekend. Or, at least until Old Dominion takes the stage at your second country show of the weekend at Les Schwab Amphitheater.
While this country music weekend is behind us, check out our Event Calendar for more concerts coming soon.
