Shop, Rent, or Repair Your Ride
Bike Shops in Bend, Oregon
Have you been drooling over the latest 29er XC superstar? Do you need a rental bike because your kiddo is begging you to take her mountain biking at Phil’s Trail for the first time? Or maybe you’re training for your upcoming road race, and your two-wheeled baby could use a little TLC.
Whatever your mountain, road, gravel, electric, cruiser, or commuter bike needs are, there’s a bike shop in Bend that has you covered. From multi-day rentals to repairing a busted rear derailleur to getting local trail advice or a new pair of butt-saving padded shorts, our local bike shops are here to keep you riding happily.
Because we’re a cycling mecca with seemingly endless miles of trails, roads, jaw-dropping mountains and high desert scenery, there are oodles of shops offering bike rentals. For mountain bike rentals, check in with the folks at Pine Mountain Sports, Project Bike, and Hutch’s. Road and gravel bike rentals can be found at Sunnyside Sports and WebCyclery. Or, if you’re in the mood for a chill cruise through town, head over to Wheel Fun Rentals and Bend Electric Bikes.
Our advice; make a rental reservation in advance. Summertime is the peak season to ride two wheels, and local shops will run out of on-the-spot rentals. So instead of missing out, call ahead.
Or if rentals are all booked up, why not just buy a new bike? Ok, that’s a big ask, but if you’re in the market for a new ride, you can find just about every brand like Trek, Yeti, Santa Cruz, Liv, Specialized, Surly, and many, many more.
If your current bike is coming along with you and needs a tighten, wrap, replacement, fix, or a wash after crushing Whoops all afternoon, then stop by a service center for some maintenance love. But, be bike repair aware! Because of part shortages, you might have to call a few shops to find the right part. And because our trusted mechanics are in such high demand, call first and don’t anticipate an on-the-spot repair.
