Located on 14th Street on Bend’s Westside, the Rosie Bareis Community Campus is a very special place. The campus is owned and operated by Deschutes Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide the space and support where nonprofits succeed at helping children and families. The Rosie Bareis Community Campus is home to several local nonprofits; Rimrock Trails/Women’s Resource Center, Divorce Mediation Services, Deschutes Children’s Foundation, Kemple Memorial Children’s Dental Clinic, and Money Management International. The campus is made up of converted cottages, lending a warm, welcoming feel to all who enter. In addition to serving as a place to assist each organization’s clients, the Rosie Bareis Community Campus also offers event space for rent. The Sanctuary is a large community meeting room and is available for rental to nonprofits and other community groups. The Sanctuary can accommodate up to 50 guests, but parking is limited as the campus is situated in a residential neighborhood. A signed use agreement and certificate of insurance are required for Sanctuary rental, and certain restrictions apply, including the use of alcohol, parking, and after hours events.
