A pleasant, small spring runs through the center of the popular, shaded Cold Springs Campground. Located just southwest of Sisters, Cold Springs Campground is nestled below a thick Ponderosa Pine forest mixed with aspen in the wet areas. This campground offers opportunities for hiking and bird watching. This is a great option for and popular with families, especially with a loop road that makes bicycling throughout the campground a favorite pastime. This campground offers many opportunities for hiking and biking with the many trails nearby, including one that leads to a nearby spring coming out of an embankment. There are 23 single campsites in this facility, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Water is available by hand pump and there are three vault style toilets. This is a good place for RVs (maximum spur length is 50 feet) with a per night, per site fee of $16. Some reservations are available to guarantee your spot.
