Cultus Corral is a lightly used campground in a conifer forest. Each site has a corral and the campground experiences light to medium usage. Located near Cultus Lake, the trails near Cultus Corral are all about the lakes. The terrain is easy and the scenery is beautiful with many lakes accessible via horse-friendly trails in the area. While there isn’t any water in the campground, there is a trail that leads down to the creek for watering of stock. The campground season is usually May through September and the fee is $14 per night. The campground can accommodate both tent and trailer camping (maximum site spur length is 30 feet) and each site has a picnic table. To ensure everyone’s safety horses are only allowed in designated horse camps and are not permitted in regular campgrounds. As a result, horse campers are limited in their choices so campers at the Cultus Corral facility must have at least one horse to be allowed to stay. Cultus Lake Resort is nearby and has a restaurant and select supplies.
