Located approximately 24 miles northwest of Sisters, Lower Bridge Campground is a stunner, even by Central Oregon standards. The beauty of this campground will hit you at the entry which is just as the river flows under the bridge. Lower Bridge is well-shaded by towering ponderosa pines and incense cedars, a welcome feature during the summer months and a fragrant reminder of all that surrounds you. Lower Bridge Campground offers fantastic bird watching opportunities as well as access to trails for day hikes. This is also a popular area to fish for Rainbow trout, bull trout, brown trout, brook trout, kokanee salmon, and mountain whitefish. Please note that fishing is only allowed below the bridge and with flies and lures only; no bait. Lower Bridge Campground consists of 12 camp sites that are best suited for tents only. Potable water is available and vault toilets serve the campsite. The per night, per site fee is $18 for the first vehicle and $9 for each additional vehicle. The campground typically operates from early May through the end of December, but campers should visit the website for current opening dates before making travel plans.
