Visit Bend partners with RRC Research of Colorado to conduct in-depth research on the Bend tourism industry. Visitors to Bend, Oregon, are interviewed at several locations around the region, including but not limited to, Lava Lands Visitor Center, summer concerts at the Les Schwab Amphitheater, Tumalo Falls, downtown Bend, the Old Mill District, and the Bend Visitor Center.

2015 City of Bend TRT comparison report
RRC Associates of Boulder compared Bend’s year-over-year growth in fiscal year 2015 TRT collections to other destinations. Bend’s extraordinary YOY growth in FY2015 TRT collections was driven by an increase in citywide lodging occupancy, an increase in citywide ADR, and an increase in the available vacation rental properties within the city.
2017 USA Triathlon Duathlon National Championships Economic Impact Study
RRC Associates of Boulder, Colorado, compiled research data during and immediately following the 2017 USA Triathlon Duathlon National Championships, held in June 2017 in Bend. The primary intent of the research was to estimate the economic impact of the USA Triathlon Duathlon National Championship events in the Central Oregon region.
2012 USA Cycling Masters Road National Championships Economic Impact Study
RRC Associates of Boulder, Colorado, compiled research data during and immediately following the 2012 USA Cycling Masters Road National Championships, held September 5‐9, 2012, in Bend and the surrounding area. The primary intent of the research was to estimate the economic impact of the USA Cycling Masters Road National Championship events in the Central Oregon region.
Recession Rebound Comparative Analysis
RRC Research of Colorado compiled survey data on room revenue comparing how Bend has recovered from the peak of the recession (2008 & 2009), compared to the 24 months following the recession (2010 & 2011).
Bend Summer Concert Series
Visit Bend partners with RRC Research of Colorado, to conduct surveys of visitors attending paid concerts at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend between May 29 and September 18, 2010.
